The Agenda: Halloween on Nantucket 2024
You’ve picked your perfect pumpkin-now-jack-o’-lantern from Bartlett’s Farm, had your healthy dose of Pumple Drumkins (ok, likely one too many), and landed on your most inventive costume yet (a latex rooster mask for The Box, perhaps?), all well before Halloweekend—so now what? While the island may feel like somewhat of a ghost town (get it?) with only traces of summer tourists left, the autumnal event schedule is in full force. All of the seasonal restaurants, shops, and operations are open, and there are still plenty of people around to enjoy them. Below, we’ve rounded up the best of this year’s Halloween happenings on Nantucket: from pumpkin painting for kids and ice skating in costume, to late-night revelries and, of course, downtown’s legendary parade. Halloween-ophile or not, there’s something for everyone.
